SITRONICS-NanoSITRONICS-Nano is a project companyestablished in October 2009 for implementing a joint project with the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) on production of very large scale 90 nm integrated circuits on 200 mm wafers (using the STMicroelectronics technology) on the basis of JSC Mikron’s production area and infrastructure. This company granted license for integrated circuit production in February 2010, the project will be implemented at the Mikron plant production area. Total amount of project financing is 16.5 bln RUR (about 550 mln USD), of which 6.5 bln RUR (about 210 mln USD) are invested by RUSNANO. SITRONICS-Nano products are created with a view to innovation segments of the electronic market, namely systems of digital broadcast and production automation, car electronics and GLONASS/GPS navigation, chips with extended functions for biometric passports and other personal documents, as well as bank and social smart-cards with a high protection degree, SIM-cards and RFID-tags and labels. |
