Molecular Electronics Research InstituteOpen joint stock company Molecular Electronics Research Institute (MERI, JSC) is created on the base of Research center “Mikron” which has integrated best experience of soviet and Russian scientific schools. The key areas of the MERIs’ activities are carrying out research in the field of nano and microelectronics and developing own national technologies and unique products. The company pays particular attention to expanding the technological level 180-90 nm in the Mikron’s 8” Fab, and to the creation of new technologies 65-45nm and less. MERI coordinates works of Russian Academy of Science’s, some other institutes and laboratories in order to make them commercial in the mass semiconductors production.
